When you begin to understand the Enneagram, it can change how you see yourself and others.
I'm an Enneagram 1. People with this Enneagram type like supporting others with changes, so it makes sense that I became a coach!
The Enneagram can be applied to many things - workplace interactions, relationships, and even the way we think. It helps increase our self-awareness by getting in touch with who we are and giving us insight into those we coach.
One of the most important aspects is that it shows us that not everyone thinks like we do or views life through our perspective. It’s a valuable lesson when communicating anything!
Myrna Cervetti of Enneahealth joins me on this podcast to discuss how the Enneagram can be used when coaching teachers. She knows a lot about this subject because she used to be an instructional coach.
In this episode, we discuss the nine different Enneagram types and how understanding them can help you as an instructional coach. We talk about ways the Enneagram can be used by schools. Myrna also shares why it should be used as a supportive tool to get to know the people we coach better.
You’re going to get a lot out of this episode whether you’re brand new to the Enneagram or have been learning about it for a while.
