Not So Basic Marinara

INGREDIENTS

  • 28 oz can crushed tomatoes with basil
  • 1/2 onion, finely diced
  • 1/2 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 3/4 cup vegan Parmesan
  • 1 tsp Trader Joe’s Italian style soffritto seasoning
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic granules

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Dice onion and mince garlic.
  2. Heat a small amount of oil to pan, then add onion and garlic. Sauteed until onions become translucent.
  3. Once onions are cooked, add crushed tomatoes to pan.
  4. Add spices and vegan cheese
  5. Simmer sauce for 20-30 minutes.
  6. Enjoy!
