Instructions

  1. Prepare your toppings (wash, dry, slice). Store them covered in the refrigerator until needed.
  2. Make sure your grill grates are clean and heat the grill.
  3. Keep the ground beef cold. Shape the ground beef into patties. Make them circular, about 1 inch larger than the size of the hamburger buns (the ground beef will shrink a bit). And 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch thick. Add a small indent into the center of the burgers. (Pro-Tip)
  4. Add the seasonings. Note: (reserve the barbecue sauce until later).
  5. Grill the burgers on each side. Do not smash down the ground beef (when you are turning them/flipping them over).
  6. Continue to grill the burgers. Do this until they have reached an internal temperature of 160F degrees (min. for ground meats).
  7. Add the BBQ Sauce to each side.
  8. After, add the sliced cheese to the tops of the burgers.
  9. Melt the cheese slices onto the burgers (close the grill lid).
  10. Remove the cheeseburgers from the grill and add them to hamburger buns.

Don’t forget to toast the buns! Add your favorite condiements, toppings and enjoy.
