I was expecting this week would be a slow one, but it didn’t turn out that way.  The first bump in our schedule was that painting just one section of the living room took my husband much longer than he thought.  He usually takes over on the weekend so I can work, but that didn’t happen this past weekend.  However, I am so happy to finally have the living room painting started that I don’t mind the inconvenience for the next few months.

Also, I was scheduled to see the naturopath for some medical issues in April, but she had a cancellation, so I got in this week!  In addition, my regular doctor was able to get me a food intolerance test, so I went for that blood draw.  Oh, and let’s not forget I went to the dentist appointment at 7 a.m. only to find I had the wrong day and the appointment is next week!

Here are my 2021 goals: week 9 of 52.

Last week, I had several goals:

Read 70 Pages a Day of The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue

Yes!  I finished the book and loved it!  Look for a book review next Tuesday.

Start Painting Our Living Room.

Yes!!!  We’re only about 1/4 done with the project, but it already looks so much better!

Clean Out the Garage for One Hour.

Done!  Bookworm and I worked on the garage for 1.25 hours, and now it’s done!  (Well, I still have to take care of the paint supplies when my husband is done painting the living room, but that likely won’t be until the end of the year.)

Follow along to The Bible in a Year for eight days.

Ugh. I just got caught up last week, and now I’m behind again. Hopefully I’ll catch up next week.

Exercise five days this week.

No, I exercised just two times this week.  I’ve decided that since exercise is difficult at my current weight, I’ll start with something less taxing that I enjoy more than intense cardio.  This week, I followed Sarah Beth Yoga and plan to continue doing that next week.  While it won’t necessarily improve my cardio, it will improve my balance, flexibility, and strength.  Then, when I lose more weight, I can rev up the cardio.

Create report cards for the kids.

Nope.  I’ll have to do this next week when the kids are on spring break.

Work on my Ancestry for one hour.

Yes.  I worked on this for 1.5 hours.

Print off the ancestry stories & pictures my uncle is sharing on Facebook.

Nope.

Print off every recipe we liked last week and put them in a binder.

No.  I didn’t cook anything new, so this didn’t happen.

Help the girls set up the telescope we got & use it one night with them.

Spring break.  I’ll get this done during spring break.

Goals for This Week

While we’re on spring break, my goals are going to be very focused:

Read 25 pages of The Rosie Project a day.
Continue painting our living room.  (This room is ugly and big, so painting it will take a few weekends.)

Clean out the master bedroom closet for two hours.
Follow along to Read the Bible in a Year for seven episodes.
Exercise four days this week.
Finish grading the kids’ school work.
Create report cards for the kids.
Work on my Ancestry for one hour.
Watch the video for the telescope we ordered & use it one night with the girls.
