Salmon Recipe Baked In The Oven

Ingredients

Cooking supplies that you will need are a sheet pan (my fav), fork or food tongs, food thermometer, aluminum foil, or parchment paper.

In this recipe, I used the smoky honey seasonings I received for free from my previous recipe post – If you want to cook surf and turf. Try this grilled steak recipe. It would be a great combo for the weekend!

But, you can use your preferred fish seasoning. So many choices! But, I honestly loved the one I tried! And I don’t get anything for recommending it. If you love a hint of smoky and love the sweetness of honey this is the one. Everyone raved about this dinner (and it was so easy!).

Add your favorite side dishes! We made it simple with a Ceasar salad bag (or use a Ceasar Salad Kit plus fresh romaine lettuce), and wild rice. This is one easy dinner to make!

Recipe Tips For Cooking Salmon

Tips:

When is salmon cooked?

Check the salmon with a thermometer for the internal temperature – The chef recommends 135F degrees. Food safe Recommendations – 145F degrees for USDA food safe. The internal temperature should reach 145F degrees for food-safe cooking. Be sure not to overcook the filet of salmon. You want to be flaky but not dried out. Cook time may vary with the cut of salmon (thickness of the salmon and if it has the skin or not). (reference)

Can you cook this recipe on the grill?

Yes! Set your gas grill to the same temperature, use the same recipe, and grill it on a prepared griddle or sheet pan.
