The Notorious Bad Kitty Lucy somehow manages to look disgruntled even when she’s at her most contented, though. Cats, I tell you. Maybe it’s just a warning glare to anyone who might dare mess with that comfort?
And how is College Guy possibly going to complete his math homework solo when he’s back in the dorms in a few months — away from his ever-faithful Jeremy?

Not to worry, though. There’s always time for trouble. Like, let’s say that I was just about to brush my teeth…
Or, say, that I was actually about to use this step ladder to repair something.
And while one can never be certain, I’m reasonably sure that mascara works better on human eyelashes than on cats. Just a hunch, Aristocats aside. (Don’t worry, BKL: We know that you’re cute. You don’t need any enhancement!)

How is your own cat-filled (or cat free) week going? Here, I’m just admiring everything SPRINGing up in my new-ish back yard… (surprise — lilacs!) and, catching Ms. Escape Artist BKL when she tries to come out and investigate for herself. This school year can’t be over soon enough for Middle School Guy (soon to be… HIGH SCHOOL GUY), who is quite looking forward to spring turning into summer here.
